8th Annual Gumbo Throwdown

Join us for an exciting Mardi Gras gumbo cook-off featuring gumbos from the area's top restaurants with all proceeds benefitting Fresh Start for Children & Families - Okaloosa County.

This event will be a wonderful evening of unlimited tastes of the competitor's gumbos, complimentary beer/wine and Mardi Gras themed beverages such as Café Au Lait, decadent desserts like beignets supplied by Good Things Donuts and king cakes, live music, an original digital photo booth by Epic Photo Co. for you to commemorate the evening, high-end prizes and specialty giveaways from local businesses, a chance to vote for the best gumbo, high-profile celebrity judges who will announce the winner of Best Gumbo and so much more!
