Event Description:
To showcase the work of local artists, the Arts and Design Society presents month-long exhibits in their studio windows, facing First Street, Fort Walton Beach.
In July, the works on display for easy viewing are those of Hanna Joensuu, who will present her newest collection, “Modern Batiks.”
The collection is inspired by Henri Matisse’s paper cuts and Andy Warhol’s screen prints. Additional information about these works is available in the Art Center office.
While the window art is available for viewing 24/7, office and gallery hours are 12 noon-4 pm, Tuesday-Friday, and the gallery, which is free to the public, is open also from 1 pm-4 pm, Saturday. The Art Center Gallery is located at 17 First Street, SE, Fort Walton Beach.
