On Friday, April 7, the Chamber will host a banquet for Okaloosa County to honor the 75th Anniversary of the start of World War II. The event will be held at the Emerald Coast Convention Center on Okaloosa Island - and we'll be honoring local WWII veterans along with several special WWII vets who will be visiting from around the country for this unique evening.
Please purchase your tickets for this event by Wednesday, April 5. There will be no tickets available at the door.

James Leavelle, Pearl Harbor survivor and Dallas Police detective, who was with Lee Harvey Oswald when he was shot.
Lewis Varvel, USS Hornet, the ship from which the Doolittle Raiders took off.
James "Pee Wee" Martin, 101st Airborne Division
Capt. Jerry Yellin - Army Air Corps - flew final combat mission of World War II (Capt. Yellin has cancelled because of health concerns, as of 4/3/17.)
