Event Description:
On October 21st and 22nd, the Irreverent Warriors Silkies Hike powered by Step One Automotive Group will kick-off at The Island Resort in Fort Walton Beach. Participants will hike a 22K, while carrying roughly 22kg(50lbs) on their backs to prevent the more than 22 U.S. veterans who take their lives every day. The hike IS the prevention in that it brings veterans together in a spirit of camaraderie and support, creates lasting bonds, and improves mental health and well-being.
