The General Election is just a memory now, and the League of Women Voters of Okaloosa County invites you to turn your attention closer to home. Florida has more ways to amend its Constitution than any other state, and soon we'll have the opportunity to see one of them in action. Florida's 37-member Constitution Revision Commission (CRC) convenes every 20 years to review Florida's Constitution and propose potential changes to be approved by Florida voters. The CRC will meet again in 2017. Join League from 6–7:30 pm on Thursday, 17 Nov, at Crosspoint Church Fellowship Center, Room 300 (214 S Partin Dr, Niceville), to learn more about the CRC and what its deliberations will mean for Florida. From Hwy 20/John Sims Pkwy, turn south at the Tax Collector's Office onto Partin Drive. Go 300 yards. The Fellowship Center is on your right; parking is on your left. Room 300 is on the right directly through the center glass doors.
