Event Description:
The Moon Walk is a community-wide event coming up on Wednesday Nov. 5th to raise awareness and advocacy for those in our disabled community and clients of The Arc of the Emerald Coast. This special one-night event will take place at Freedom Tech Center at 6pm with proceeds supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Anyone and everyone can participate in this electric night of fun, out-of-this world energy filled with participants walking the track in glow in the dark attire, playing interactive games with live music in the air and a Supermoon in the sky that evening! This unique occasion will bring together people of all ages and backgrounds a will provide a way “to walk for those who can't always walk for themselves." The event will feature area nonprofits, community vendors, special guests, and proceeds from this event will help serve the mission and programs of The Arc of the Emerald Coast helping create a pathway from disability to capability.
