Mounted Staghorn Fern Workshop

Grab your pals and come out to Wildwood Garden for a fun morning learning how to mount and care for staghorn ferns on Saturday, August 13 from 10am-11:30am.
 

In their natural environment, many staghorn ferns (Platycerium bifurcatum) grow on trees, and in tight spaces. Their long, arching fronds look like the antlers of a deer, and they're extra dramatic when mounted and hung on a wall. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to make a beautiful living wall hanging and gain the knowledge needed to keep it alive and thriving!
 

No two pieces are alike, and yours will have its own unique shape, size and personality - expect this natural variation from the photos.
 

The cost for the workshop is $75. Registration includes: red cedar plank, mounting hardware, sphagnum moss, staghorn fern, and use of tools. We will also have complimentary mimosas, coffee and brunch bites.

Pre-registration is required. Pre-register below or register at the shoppe. Online registration is open until 11:59pm the Friday prior to the event or until tickets are sold out. Workshops are NON-REFUNDABLE, and gift certificates are not valid for workshops.
