The current exhibit of work by local photographer, Dottie King will be closing soon. King will speak at a closing reception for Inspired By: A Contemporary Interpretation. Borrowing from greats, King re-imagines classic works with subtle reinterpretations - a tweak of ethnicity, setting, lighting or facial expression - these shifts can be both playful and subversive.
The exhibit remains open to the public weekdays during business hours through Thursday, November 10, at the WUWF Studios on the campus of the University of West Florida, Bldg. 88. All are invited to a closing reception Thursday, November 10, 5-7pm. King will speak about her work at 6 pm.
