Shalimar United Methodist Church is hosting The Surrender Project on April 29 at 6 pm.
All active duty, veteran military and first responders are invited to meet Lt. Col.Damon Friedman of SOF Missions and lear how he and others overcame Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. His film, Surrender Only to ONE highlights true stories of combat veterans, their silent struggles and the answers they find on the way to personal haling Spuses and friends are welcome; hotdogs and homemade cookies available.
Not suitable for children under 14. Childcare is available for small children.
