Sources of Funding for Small Business

If you are currently in business and want to see what funding options are available to your small business, this workshop is for you! The Florida SBDC at UWF/FWB offers “Sources of Funding for Small Business” on Thursday, January 30th. Topics include guidance on what financial institutions consider when assessing a loan application, and what tasks you need to complete before going to a bank to obtain funding. In addition to discussing banks as a source of funding, we will also discuss alternative lenders, private investors and crowdfunding. A list of alternative lenders and crowdfunding websites will be provided, however, for the remaining sources of funding the emphasis will be on the process of obtaining funds rather than providing you with a list of private investors or institutes that you can approach.
