Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast Senior Spirit program will host its April Healthy Living Seminar titled “Sun Protection: Prevention and Early Detection of Skin Cancer” on Wednesday, Apr. 12 at 10 a.m.

Dr. Jessica Clark, a dermatologist with Coastal Skin Surgery and Dermatology, will cover a variety of topics including the risks of sun exposure, recommendations for sun protection including practical tips and information about sunscreen. Dr. Clark will also discuss early detection of skin cancer, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. After the seminar, attendees will have the opportunity to have an exposed skin cancer screening for areas such as the face, scalp, arm, and leg.
