We are thrilled to invite you to participate in our upcoming "United We Celebrate" Independence Day celebration hosted at Freedom Tech Center, located at 1900 Lewis Turner Blvd, Fort Walton Beach. This exciting community event will be held on Saturday, June 28th from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. This celebration is a unique opportunity for nonprofits, local businesses, military organizations, and first responders to engage with the community, share their missions, and even host their own fundraisers — all while enjoying a fun-filled patriotic afternoon. Here's what to expect: Free Vendor Booths – Whether you're a nonprofit or local business, you're invited to set up a booth and showcase your mission, goods, or services at no cost. Patriotic Table Decorating Contest – Nonprofits, military, and first responder vendors can enter our decorating contest. Attendees will vote for their favorite table by purchasing tickets, and the winning organization will receive all ticket proceeds to support their mission. Kids Scavenger Hunt & Mission Cards – Children will explore nonprofit booths, collect stamps, and claim a prize once their card is complete — a fun and educational way to learn about local organizations. Patriotic Pet Parade – Dress your furry friends in their best red, white, and blue! Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, judged by Road Dogg Rescue and Freedom Tech Center. Pet Welfare from Eglin AFB will also be on-site hosting a fundraiser and capturing great photos of your pets. Live Music, Games & Family Fun – Enjoy bounce houses, face painting, sack races, 3-legged races, and more good old-fashioned American fun. This is more than a celebration — it's a chance to connect, give back, and support those who serve our community.
