Event Description:
Join us on Wednesday, February 24th for WomenConnect. This month Bonnie Brushton Barlow with One Hopeful Place will give us an update on the expansion at One Hopeful Place that will include housing for women. This is a great accomplishment for One Hopeful Place as women are more susceptible to violence and trafficking. On the nights that One Hopeful Place serves as a cold night shelter, there are on average 10 women who come for a warm, dry, safe place to sleep.
As women and community leaders in Fort Walton Beach, we hope you will join us as we show our support for this incredible endeavor.
Wednesday, February 24th at the FWB Chamber, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
11:30 a.m. Lunch and relationship building – please bring your lunch, soft drinks, and water provided
Noon– Introductions and Presentation
1:00 p.m. – Meeting Conclusion
