DESCRIPTION:Attention all citizens who are worried about gang activity and juvenile delinquency in our county: Are you interested in improving outcomes for first-time offenders and keeping at-risk kids out of the juvenile justice system? \n\nLast July Okaloosa County began implementation of the data-driven Juvenile Justice System Improvement Program (JSSIP)\, which has provided excellent results in several other Florida counties. \n\nPlease join the League of Women Voters of Okaloosa County from 11:30–1:30 on Wednesday\, 10 Feb\, at Two Trees Restaurant (1955 Lewis Turner Blvd\, FWB) to hear all about how implementation of this project is progressing. Our Panelists include Deputy Gary Venuti from OCSO\, Paul Wallis from Florida Department of Juvenile Justice\, and Bill Bishop and Ginger Madden from the Shalimar State Attorney's office.
