SUMMARY:Panel Discussion on Campaign Financing
DESCRIPTION:The League of Women Voters of Okaloosa County is sponsoring a panel discussion on campaign financing on Saturday\, September 22nd\, from 10:00-noon in the Niceville City Council chambers (208 N. Partin Dr\, Niceville).\nThe panel will feature Supervisor of Elections Paul Lux\, local business owner and FWB Tea Party activist Henry Kelley\, and League of Women Voters of Florida government consultant Ben Wilcox. All three panelists are intimately familiar with the recent changes in campaign finance requirements and what they mean for Florida's electorate. \nAccording to Okaloosa League President Mary Blackwell\, "Our modest little local races attracted lots of attention and money in the primary often from outside sources and this meeting will provide a great opportunity for county citizens to learn how this complex issue affects our little corner of paradise." \nThe meeting is free and open to the public.
