The position is remote and offers flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and schedule content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Ensure brand voice is consistent, engaging, and mission-driven
- Monitor engagement on Dog-Harmony social media accounts, and respond to comments/messages in a timely manner
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to highlight programs, events, and impact stories
- Track performance metrics and recommend strategies for growth
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business or nonprofit
- Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
- Familiarity with Canva, Publer, and Google Analytics
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and meet deadlines
- Passion for therapy dogs, literacy, or humane education a plus
- Must have a reliable computer for video and social media creation
- Must have reliable internet connections for meetings
- Part-time, approximately 10–15 hours per week
- Remote, with occasional virtual meetings
- Hourly compensation based on experience
